VOTE 1 - Wayne Sachs for Gympie Regional Council.

Re-elect an experienced councillor with a background of caring and compassion.

Wayne Sachs has been involved with the local community for many years, and is currently serving a second consecutive term on Cooloola Shire Council.
In this capacity he has been negotiating on behalf of the community, issues related to improved roads; driver education; an improved medical and nursing workforce; keeping rates affordable; transparency and accountability in local government; attending ministerial deputations (driver education; Traveston Dam) to name a few, in addition to championing many residents’ problems though Council. 
He has also been very outspoken against the establishment of a detention centre in Kilkivan Shire. Having been a Councillor for almost 8 years, he is  very aware of the issues which impact on our region and has worked hard to achieve results which have benefited this community. 
Wayne Sachs has never been one to sit back and do nothing, and now a word from him………….

I invite you to join me in taking a fresh approach to the way things should get done in the new Gympie Regional Council. Together we can embrace the collective ownership of important issues, consider each on its merits and deliver outcomes which are of real benefit and in step with community wishes.
